Reginald Sylvester II is included in Hyphen American: Intersections of Identity, on view 24 January – 5 July 2026 at the Sheldon Museum of Art, University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Drawing exclusively from the museum’s collection, the exhibition brings together artists including Kara Walker, Hank Willis Thomas, Catherine Opie, Gordon Parks, Jacob Lawrence and Richard Avedon, examining how identity is constructed, performed and contested across American art.
