Artplugged’s Five Exhibitions to see in London June in 2026
June, 2026
‘From Yinka Ilori’s politics of joy to Lubaina Himid’s reflections on memory and migration, these are Five Exhibitions To See In London June In 2026 shaping London’s cultural conversation this month.
Summer is here, or almost here. London’s exhibition landscape rarely stands still, and this June feels particularly charged. With several first solo exhibitions and a number of abstract shows taking place across the city, artists are grappling with questions of identity, memory, migration and resistance through practices that challenge inherited narratives and expand the possibilities of expression through art and sound.
These compelling exhibitions move beyond aesthetics alone, using painting, sculpture, installation and sound to interrogate how personal histories intersect with larger political realities.’
